How to Get There

Anantara Kalutara Resort sits between the sea and the Kalu river lagoon at Kalutara. The airport at Katunayake is around 85 km away, about 1 hour 45 minutes by car, travelling on the expressways around Colombo and the Southern Expressway, then a short stretch on the Galle Road.

From central Colombo the journey is about 50 km and takes about 1 hour 15 minutes.

The coastal railway from Colombo Fort also runs along this shore, a slower but scenic alternative if you travel light.

Bubble Sri Lanka Holidays arranges private transfers from the airport and from anywhere in the country, with the option of keeping the car and chauffeur for your whole stay.
