Boutique villas

Sri Sharavi Beach Villas and Spa and Ubuntu Beach Villas by Lantern are both on the eastern side of the bay, with villas and suites set in gardens. Villa Atulya at Ocean's Edge is a small, friendly villa right by the water, west of the main beach.

Mid-range

Number One Mirissa is a mid-range boutique hotel in colonial style, and Ballena Regency is a straightforward mid-range hotel a little further west towards Weligama. Both are good bases if you will be out at sea early.
