Planning your stay

Many travellers spend a night here at the start or end of a trip; the city is easiest to explore by tuk-tuk or on a guided tour. Traffic is heaviest at rush hour, so plan sightseeing for mid morning or late afternoon, and finish at Galle Face Green for the sunset.
