How to Get There
Oak Ray Haridra Beach Resort sits on the beach at Wadduwa. The airport at Katunayake is around 70 km away, about 1 hour 30 minutes by car, travelling on the expressways around Colombo and then down the Galle Road through Panadura.
From central Colombo the journey is about 35 km and takes about 1 hour.
The coastal railway from Colombo Fort also runs along this shore, a slower but scenic alternative if you travel light.
To keep arrival simple, ask us for a private transfer with a chauffeur who meets you outside arrivals. You can keep the car for touring afterwards. Allow extra time at weekends and on public holidays, when the roads out of Colombo are busier.
