Planning your stay
Kalutara is about an hour south of Colombo by the Southern Expressway or the coast road, and roughly an hour and a half from the airport, which makes it an easy first or last stop. The sea on this coast is calmest from about November to April.

Visit the Kalutara Bodhiya, Richmond Castle and the turtle hatcheries along the coast, or try water sports on the Kalutara lagoon, a short drive away.

Executive Suite
The 135 sqm Executive Suite is on the 2nd floor, with a dining area, a kitchenette, a separate sitting area, a Jacuzzi bathtub and a large balcony with ocean views.

Presidential Suite

How to Get There
You will find Citrus Waskaduwa on the beach at Waskaduwa, just north of Kalutara. The drive from Bandaranaike International Airport covers roughly 75 km and takes 1 hour 30 minutes or so, travelling on the expressways around Colombo and the Southern Expressway, then a short stretch on the Galle Road.
From central Colombo the journey is about 40 km and takes about 1 hour.
The coastal railway from Colombo Fort also runs along this shore, a slower but scenic alternative if you travel light.
