How to Get There

Oak Ray Elephant Lake sits beside a lake in Sigiriya. The airport at Katunayake is around 150 km away, about 3 hours 45 minutes by car, travelling via Kurunegala and Dambulla, using the Central Expressway for the first part.

If you start in Colombo, it is around 170 km, about 4 hours 15 minutes on the road.

Bubble Sri Lanka Holidays can arrange a private car with an English speaking chauffeur for your arrival and departure, or keep the same driver with you for the rest of your trip. Allow extra time at weekends and on public holidays, when the roads out of Colombo are busier.
