How to Get There
You will find Rajarata Hotel in Anuradhapura's new town, close to the ancient city. The drive from Bandaranaike International Airport covers roughly 175 km and takes 4 hours or so, travelling north through Kurunegala, or by the Puttalam road.
From central Colombo the journey is about 205 km and takes about 4 hours 15 minutes.
Bubble Sri Lanka Holidays arranges private transfers from the airport and from anywhere in the country, with the option of keeping the car and chauffeur for your whole stay. Allow extra time at weekends and on public holidays, when the roads out of Colombo are busier.
