Trinco Blu by Cinnamon

Trinco Blu by Cinnamon is a four star beachfront hotel on the east coast at Trincomalee. Its retro 1970s design uses cut cement floors, bleached wooden decks and denim trims with splashes of orange against blue and white.

Planning your stay

Trincomalee is on the north-east coast, about five to six hours by road from Colombo, and often combined with Sigiriya and the Cultural Triangle. The east coast is at its best from about April to September, when the sea is calm and clear.

How to Get There

Trinco Blu by Cinnamon sits on Uppuveli beach, just north of Trincomalee. The airport at Katunayake is around 250 km away, about 5 hours 15 minutes by car, travelling through Kurunegala, Dambulla and Habarana.

From central Colombo the journey is about 270 km and takes about 5 hours 45 minutes.
